Event Date:
On Saturday, March 2nd, members of St. Peter’s gathered to listen to Fr. Theodore Labib speak about Humility and how it related to the overall theme of this Lenten Season, "The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." (Mathew 25:40). Fr. Labib’s message reminded members to be mindful and thoughtful of others in their words and actions during their day-to-day lives. The message especially resonated with the younger generation of the church.
In addition to the guest speaker message, the church partnered with the Feed My Starving Children Organization (fmsc.org) to pack meals for starving children. Once packed, these meals are shipped to countries in need to ultimately try and end hunger across the world. This event was truly a humbling and enjoyable experience for the members of St. Peter’s
