Event Date:
On Saturday, March 16th, members of St. Peter’s gathered to listen to Dr. George Aramath speak about Love and how it related to the overall theme of this Lenten Season, "The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." (Mathew 25:40). Dr. Aramath’s message focused on the importance of building a loving community in both your personal life and in the church.
In addition to the guest speaker message, the church partnered with the World Relief Organization (worldrelief.org), a global Christian organization that empowers local churches to serve newly arriving immigrant families. As a group, the church created 5 dressers, 5 coffee tables, 5 nightstands, and 1 love seat. This event was another opportunity for the members of St. Peter’s to serve newly arriving immigrant families looking to rebuild their lives in a new country.
