During the evening of Saturday March 4th, the members of St. Peter's assembled in the church for the first of five Lenten service projects during the 2023 Great Lent. The Pack-A-Backpack event consisted of the group packing 48 school backpacks with essential school supplies that children need to thrive in school.
Grace Varghese (Thankamma), 75, passed on March 26, 2021 at her home in Darien, IL. Her funeral service will be held on March 30, 2021 at St. Peter’s Syriac Orthodox Church, Northlake, Illinois followed by internment.

On July 10, 2016, St. Peter's church recognized outstanding performance by our Sunday School kids with an awards ceremony after Holy Qurbana. More than simply receiving trophies, it is important to encourage our kids to study and work hard in attaining spiritual knowledge. This awards ceremony honored those kids that excelled at:
