St. Peters Church proudly announced our first Malayalam graduation on May 25th 2014.
Our graduates are:
- Joslin George
- Leah Kunneth
- Naveen Thomas
- Sherwin Thomas
During the last seven years, these children learned: the Malayalam alphabets, to read, to write, and to translate and converse in Malayalam. At the graduation ceremony, the graduates read an entire Malayalam story in front of the congregation. The students were given a plaque and certificate to recognize their achievements. Their teacher, Mrs. Suja Poothicote was honored with a plaque for her dedication and hard work.
Graduates have already shown interest in assisting teachers to teach Malayalam to the younger classes.
